
Yoga Background
Aiko began practicing yoga in 2005. In 2010, she studied at Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, recognized by the Government of India, and became a Certified Yoga Instructor. She started teaching at Minyoga and attending a Yoga Therapy course that same year, and in 2011, she commenced teaching at cocoroyoga and started Harmony Yoga. Aiko is a member of the Japan Yoga Therapy Society.

Aiko currently teaches Raja Yoga and Yoga Therapy.
Teaching Style
- Devised for a small group of students
- Students practice at their own speed by closing their eyes
- Students progress at their own pace, making sure exercises feel comfortable
- Students may measure their blood pressure if they wish to
- Breathing exercises are for both physical and mental harmony
- Asanas help students to strengthen muscles, feel relaxed, and effectively prepare for meditation
- Meditation training to reflect objectively upon oneself
