This municipal government-run facility has very large Japanese-style tatami mat rooms. Tatami mats are great because they provide added cushioning and create a relaxing atmosphere.
This facility has the largest tatami rooms of any community hall in Shibuya Ward, and so is quite popular among independent yoga instructors as a venue.
The hall is in the upscale residential neighborhood of Yoyogi 5-Chome. If you are lucky enough to be in rooms #1 or #2 during the daytime, you’ll have a fantastic view of Yoyogi Park.
